Footnotes and fancy-free

This page is about broccoli and grapes sold in your stores

As a regular shopper at one of your stores, I often buy broccoli.  Looking further afield, this vegetable is sold much as depicted.  If I remove the surplus broccoli  before reaching your checkout,  am I in contravention of any procedures?  On occasions, I have asked at the deli counter for a cut to be made  at the appropriate place.

Here is a larger picture of the broccoli.  I was unable to use half of it.

At c £2.50 per kg, the usable price is outrageous.

Does it upset the apple cart if I taste a grape or two before buying?  I wouldn't open a celophane-wrapped box.  Often there are loose grapes strewn around the bags.
